Since I've played this game a lot I decided to toss in a few tips on it.

1) Stay behind everyone else on your team.
I've noticed on there that as soon as a battle starts everyone rushs to the center of the map and starts blasting each other with torpedos. (for those who don't know this, there are cannons on there) Better them than you I say, haha.

2) I know people who play want to make the whole "need to test my range" argument but honastly, shooting off all your shells the second the battles start is dumb. Especialy in the larger ships where ammo is extreamly limited.

3) You can't outrun torpedos but they don't have to hit you either. A torpedo group spreads out as it travels so when you see them headed your way just turn and head strait at them and steer around them.

I wanted to point out another thing for this game. You have a number of choices you can make in this game. The first choice being nation. In general the Japan nation ships all have somewhat weak cannons. They rely primarily on torpedos. As I said in the last post torpedos are fairly easy to dodge with practice but more than that, they have a very slow reload time compaired to cannons. The Britain and German ships have reasonably good cannons but pay for that by having fairly low durability (ship's hit points). And finally theres the U.S. ships. These have an equal balance of both good cannons and good durability. To compair this lets look at the starting ships of each nation.

U.S. : D.D. Fletcher = durability 6700, structural strength 55, A.A. Defence 150
Britain : D.D. O Class = durability 6400, structural strength 70, A.A. Defence 132
Germany : D.D. Z1 = durability 6800, structural strength 40, A.A. Defence 131
Japan : D.D. Kagero = durability 6700, structural strength 30, A.A. Defence 87

As you can see the Fletcher is the supperior ship. It has 100 points less durability than the Z1 but has far more structural strength so it will take less damage. But there is no best nation. It all depends on the skill of the player and your personal prefferance. The real key to winning battles is level up sailors with good stats to get the most of your ship and don't rush the upgrades to bigger ships. Your second major choice is weather to go for battleships or aircraft carriors. Carriors can be fun but they have a major down side. They can only carry very weak newbie cannons and they are unbelivably slow and have horrible manoverability. Their primary weapons are fighters, bombers, torpedo planes, and dive bombers. Also you have to control the planes so it leaves your carrior dead in the water and open to attack unless you have team members patroling for you.

I wanted to add that the whole submarine system is coming along very well on there. They added a third sub and made improvments to the whole submarine system. Subs can serve you real well in the great battle rooms but don't get the notion that your invincible like most people seem to. I've sunk my share of subs just like most other people. If you get the idea that subs make you unbeatable just because you can dive than you'll get sloppy and careless and end up going for a swim 8)
